Adding, editing, or removing co-applicants depends on your application status. You can check the application status in My dashboard.
Here is a summary of the actions you can take for each application status
- In Progress: add, edit, and remove both co-applicants and dependents
- Complete, Submitted, Pending Review, Approved, Declined, Canceled: Reach out to the property manager for assistance. You cannot edit dependent information at any time after you have submitted.
Application Status: In Progress
If you have not submitted your application, your application status is In Progress.
Add co-applicants and dependents
From the application home page, select Your household to add or edit co-applicants (adults over 18 living with you) or dependents (children under 18 living with you).
- If you select 0, you will not be asked to add any additional information.
- If you select 3+, you have the option to add as many additional people as needed on the people information page by selecting Add another.
Adding adult co-applicants
- Select the number of adults that will be living with you and select Continue.
- Enter the information for each co-applicant and select Continue.
- All co-applicants will receive an email invite link to fill out the application. They will need to submit their own application before the entire group is submitted to the property manager.
Adding minor dependents
- Select the number of dependents under age 18 that will be living with you, and select Continue.
- Enter details for each dependent and select Continue.
Remove or edit co-applicants and dependents
Remove co-applicants or dependents
- Select Your household from the application home page.
- Use the back or forward buttons in the lower right hand corner to find the page where you select the number of co-applicants or dependents.
- Select the correct number of co-applicants or dependents
Edit co-applicants or dependents
If you update a co-applicant's email address, they will receive a new application invite.
- Select Your household from the application home page.
- Use the back or forward arrows in the lower right hand corner to find the person's information page.
- Update the information as needed.
Application status: Complete, Submitted, Pending Review, Approved, Declined, or Canceled
If you have submitted your application, you cannot add, remove, and you must reach out to the property manager to make those changes.
Dependents cannot be added, edited, or removed by anyone once your application is in one of these statuses. Co-applicants can edit their own information prior to submitting their application. If anyone needs to make changes to their contact information, reach out to Findigs support.
